To this end, the so called “thematic priorities” are focusing the efforts on fields that have great potential for growth and employment and a high need for innovative solutions. Knowledge transfer and networking are key factors so that actors in science, business and society can participate in new constellations that overcome fixed mindsets and disciplinary silos. The commitment of industry, science and society is just as important as the Federal Governments commitment. Working hand in hand on common goals is the key to success. With the High-Tech Strategy 2025, the German Government want to increase spending on research and development in Germany to 3.5 percent of GDP by 2025. This is only possible with the industry as a strong partner for this investment in the future.,The Hightech Strategy,Cross-cutting issues in CPS,Transportation Smart MobilitySmart Logistics,Health Smart Health,Energy Smart Grid,Production Smart Factory,Internet of data & services,Internet of things,Connectivity, cloud computing, reference architecture, norms & standards, security, ,Cross-cutting issues,Semantic technologies, tradability & bundling of services, people & workplaces, ,Economy,Culture,S1,Source: acatech,Text to slide 9: The cooperation of all actors responsible for innovation policy is of particular importance for the success of the strategy. The High-Tech Forum, which comprises 20 experts from science, industry and civil society, is the Federal Governments central advisory body for research and innovation. The Federal Government has set itself the goal of achieving the greatest possible transparency regarding the goals, implementation and impact of HTS 2025. The social importance of science and research and the public funding of research and innovation oblige the Federal Government to communicate and engage in dialogue.,Germanys Digital Journey: Strategic Projects of German Government,Cross-cutting issues in CPS,Transportation Smart MobilitySmart Logistics,Health Smart Health,Energy Smart Grid,Production Smart Factory,Internet of data & services,Internet of things,Connectivity, cloud computing, reference architecture, norms & standards, security, ,Cross-cutting issues,Semantic technologies, tradability & bundling of services, people & workplaces, ,Economy,Culture,S1,Source: acatech,Text to slide 11: Once the topics have been selected, implementation begins.
